Terms of use

Kubepier is a product of TR, a brand of Tr83 Cloud Tecnology Security LTDA (CNPJ 54.136.169/0001-00), Rua Jacob Bunel, 176, Sala 01, Jardim Santa Mônica, São Paulo/SP, CEP 05171-020, Brazil. By creating an account or using Kubepier Web or Kubepier Desktop, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. The Portuguese version prevails in case of doubt.

1. The service

Kubepier shows and operates Kubernetes clusters: Kubepier Web (app.kubepier.com.br), in the browser and on your phone, and Kubepier Desktop, for Linux, Windows and macOS. It talks to the API of the clusters you connect and installs nothing in them, except Lens Metrics (Prometheus, kube-state-metrics and node-exporter, in the lens-metrics namespace), when you install it from Kubepier Desktop, and the temporary pods of the features you trigger (Bastion, Secure tunnel, the route through the cluster and the node shell), deleted when the feature ends.

2. Account and organization

  • You sign in with a GitHub account. You are responsible for the use of your account and for keeping access to it secure.
  • Data lives in an organization, created on your first sign-in. Whoever creates it is its administrator and decides who joins, with which role and which clients each person sees.
  • You must be 18 or older and authorized to act on behalf of the company you register.

3. Plans, trial and billing

  • Plans apply to Kubepier Web and Kubepier Desktop, which requires signing in with the same account. The Free plan costs nothing and gives read-only access, without AI diagnosis. Pro and Team are paid plans, per organization, in Brazilian reais (BRL), at the prices published at kubepier.com.br/en/pricing.
  • On Pro and Team, including during the 14-day free trial, each user gets a 7-day AI diagnosis trial with no key to set up, counted from their first diagnosis, with up to 30 diagnoses a day and subject to a monthly trial quota; if it runs out, the trial pauses until the next month. On Kubepier Desktop, the trial applies from version 2.7.0. After that, the diagnosis uses the organization’s API key (web) or your own (desktop; from version 2.7.0, without your own key, the organization’s).
  • Paid plans have a 14-day trial, once per organization, on the first subscription; a later subscription is charged right away. After the trial, billing is recurring (monthly or yearly) through Mercado Pago, which processes the payment; Kubepier never receives or stores card data.
  • You can cancel at any time, on the Plans screen or in Mercado Pago. Cancelling stops future charges and the paid plan lasts until the end of the period already paid (or of the trial); then the organization returns to the Free plan. Cancelling does not refund what was already paid, except for the withdrawal in the next item.
  • On your first purchase you may withdraw within 7 days of the first charge, as the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code provides: e-mail contato@kubepier.com.br within that period and the refund is made through Mercado Pago.
  • Prices may change; a change only applies from the next period and is announced in advance.

4. Acceptable use

  • Connect only clusters, cloud accounts and services you are authorized to access.
  • Do not use Kubepier for illegal activities, to attack or overload systems, or to get around plan limits, authentication or the separation between organizations.
  • Do not resell access without an agreement with TR.

5. Your responsibility over the clusters

Kubepier performs the actions you or your team request, such as editing, scaling, restarting or deleting resources, with the permissions of the credentials you registered. Those actions and their effects on the clusters are the responsibility of whoever requests them and of the organization. Use credentials with the least privilege needed.

6. Availability and support

We work to keep Kubepier available, but there is no guarantee of uninterrupted operation nor a service level agreement, unless a separate contract says so. Support is by e-mail at contato@kubepier.com.br.

7. Intellectual property

Kubepier, its brand and its own code belong to TR. Kubepier Desktop is built on Freelens and other open source components, which keep their own licenses (for example, MIT). The data you register remains yours.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, TR is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss caused by actions performed at the user’s request, by the unavailability of third-party services (such as cloud providers, GitHub or Mercado Pago) or by use contrary to these terms.

9. Termination

You can close your account at any time by asking by e-mail. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, with prior notice whenever possible. After closing, data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Relevant changes are announced in advance by e-mail or in Kubepier, and the date at the top of this page shows the version in force.

11. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Brazilian law, with the courts of São Paulo/SP, Brazil, as the chosen venue, without prejudice to a consumer’s right to sue in their own domicile.
