Your clusters’ health, from anywhere

A pod in CrashLoop, a CronJob that did not run, a deployment stuck without replicas: see it and fix it from the browser or your phone, on any Kubernetes, without the machine that holds the kubeconfig.

Why Kubepier

The gaps Kubepier closes

kubectl does everything, as long as you are on the right machine, with the right context and time to type. The rest of the time, these gaps are left.

kubectl only lives on your laptop

Any browser, or your phone

Kubepier Web opens in any browser. The kubeconfig stays encrypted in Kubepier, not copied to every team machine.

The Kubernetes IDE only runs on desktop

The same panel, in the browser

Workloads, events, usage and every cluster resource, nothing to install. The desktop app is still there, for Linux, Windows and macOS.

Kubeconfigs going around the team chat

Everyone with their own sign-in

On Team, each person signs in with GitHub and only sees the clients granted to them. Whoever leaves the team loses access right away.

The CronJob that fails silently

The last run in plain sight

Every CronJob shows its last run and whether it is suspended, and every Job shows whether it completed, failed or is still running.

A pod in CrashLoop at 2 a.m.

From the warning to the pod in two clicks

Failing pods and warning events rise to the top. On Pro, live logs, shell and restart right there.

The Grafana nobody set up

Usage without building a dashboard

CPU and memory per cluster, node and namespace, right in Kubepier, from the metrics-server the cluster already has.

Multicloud · on-premises

Got a kubeconfig? Kubepier opens it

One client on AKS, another on EKS, one on IBM Cloud and another on an on-premises cluster: all in the same catalog, with the same table and the same filters. Switching clouds is not switching tools.

  • Azure and AWS through the cloud accountAKS and EKS imported straight from the Azure subscription or the AWS account, no kubeconfig to copy.
  • GKE, IBM Cloud, OpenShift and the restAny managed Kubernetes joins through the kubeconfig, just like with kubectl.
  • On-premises and edgek3s, RKE, kubeadm, kind: on desktop, if kubectl can reach it, so can Kubepier. On the web, the cluster API just needs to accept Kubepier’s fixed egress IP.
Integrations

What runs around the cluster

The pod is Running, but the queue is clogged or the database lost a replica. Integrations link every workload to the services it uses, discovered from the pod variables, with credentials encrypted in the client settings.

Live now

Queues and MongoDB

  • RabbitMQ
  • Azure Service Bus
  • MongoDB

The depth of every queue the pod uses, read from the container variables, and the client’s MongoDB health, right in the cluster.

Coming soon

Messaging

  • Apache Kafka
  • Amazon SQS

Lag per consumer group and partition, messages queued and in flight, dead-letter, and which pod consumes each topic or queue.

Coming soon

Databases

  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL

Open connections, replicas and replication lag, slow queries, disk and memory, and which workloads use each database.

Coming soon

Cache

  • Redis

Memory used against the limit, hit rate, connected clients, keys per database and evictions.

Each integration becomes a panel inside the cluster and the client, next to the workloads, with no other tool to open.

Security

Secure by default, and you start by just looking

Nobody hands a production cluster to a new tool without knowing what it does. That is why Kubepier starts read-only and makes it clear where everything lives.

  • Free is read-onlyConnect the production cluster and explore it with no risk of changing anything. Edit, scale and restart only on the paid plans.
  • Encrypted credentialsKubeconfigs and cloud keys are encrypted in the database. No connection string ever shows on screen.
  • Secrets by key onlyThe web shows the keys and the size of each Secret, never the values.
  • Audited actionsEvery action that changes the cluster goes to the audit log: who did what, where and when.
  • GitHub sign-inNo new password to leak. On Team, access is per client and ends the moment the person leaves the team.
  • Open-source baseThe desktop app is built on Freelens, which is open source (MIT). Nothing is installed in the cluster, except metrics-server if you want usage.
